Well, I think i´m going to give up on going to the Parque to Volunteer for now. It hasn´t stopped raining for more than about 2 hours since the last post. I´m looking into travelling to the south of Boliva first and than coming back up to work. I´d be in a big city for the Caranval and In Sucre (which would be where im headed) I can take spanish lessons. Which would be a great assest in a country that no one speaks english =)
And how does it smell¿ Like humdity, I dont think i´ve been completly dry once since I got here. I made the stupid mistake of washing some clothes but in 100% humidity, things don´t dry. However It is still very warm out, and of course if i´m hot in canada when it´s -15 out...I find it still very hot here.
I haven´t seen any more cochroaches in my room but I have one small Gecko I named Fred, he´s much cuter than a bug, plus I dont have to kill him.
I think I might of ate some pigeons, The menu at the resturant had Quails on it...which kinda confused me since quails was pluralized, so I ordered it. Two little birds the exact size of the hundreds of pigons that live on the square about 5 meters way, were pn my plate. And since they were so small none of the insides were cleaned out...yummy.
Also, take time to appricate our bus system back at home....you walk up to the counter and buy a ticket for where you want to go. If it only it was that easy....With the help of my english/spanish speaking Portugues friend we tried inquiring about tickets to the city near I want to Volunteer at. However there is not one booth to go to....the bus sations has about 47 different boths to go to, all run separately by different agencies some going to the same places, some going to other, none with corrosponding information.
I met a man from Quebec last night who has been riding his motobike since November...West through sask and alberta, up through yukon to alaska, and now down all the way to here continuing to the southern tip of chile. Quite the trip!
Here´s to hoping that not ALL the roads are washed away, I´ll keep you posted!

Buenos Dias Senorita! Como es?
Vicente estan muchos buenos.
Just remember Kara, you're Canadian. Your national transportation vehicle is a canoe! You can go anywhere now! : )
Oh Kara. It really is just better not to ask what youre eatting. Or stick to the "crema" soups. They dont actually have anything in them, theyre like... powdered processed *vegetables* but then youre basicaly just paying for hot water.
*VIVA BOLIVIA*
Your blog is like a drug, I keep checking in just in case you've added somehting new. I've been doing it all day.
Pigeon, huh? I haven't looked up quail but if it's the size of an ostrich, then yes, you ate pigeons. I really have to look up quails now, because I'm curious. I can imagine how hot you are!! At least you don't have really frizzy ahir because I bet you'd be looking just great right about noW!!
It sounds wet. Are your fingers all wrinkled yet? Perhaps all you needed to pack was your bathing suit! I don't like rain when I travel, but at least it is warm. In the Scotish Highlands I encountered rain everyday, but very cold rain. I hope otherwise you are having a good time. Learning the language better sounds like a good plan.
I had a dream that we all with you and you were showing us around the villages and citeis. Of course, I have no idea what it actually looks like, I've just been going off of Motorcycle Diaries!
